I saw Mraz today put out a little video, and had a sports minute too, saying that the Philadelphia Eagle fan is a fraudulent fan, because they celebrated out in the streets after winning the NFC title game, and then missed some of, if not all, of the AFC title game between Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes, and I guess Mraz's point was, if you're a big football fan, then okay, you gotta go watch the AFC title game. So, Mraz, who works with DA in the morning on CBS Sports Radio, may be a good company guy, of course you can listen to those guys, Monday through Friday, 6 to 10 AM Eastern Time, on many of the same CBS Sports Radio affiliates, and that great free Odyssey app. But, I gotta get into a little CBS Sports Radio, I guess drama you could say, or just something that became somewhat newsworthy today on the good ol' cesspool of Twitter. I’d never met Spike before our first interview at a dreadful Sixers loss in February, but I’d heard that in addition to juggling sports gigs on the radio and the Internet, he’s also a nice guy. Though most top-shelf sports talkers take off for the holidays, Howard is a different breed give him a mic and he’ll do a live remote from a funeral on New Year’s Eve in a hurricane. Howard Eskin was on the air, which itself was no surprise. Last Christmas Eve, I heard something truly shocking on WIP.
